Customers of Ethiopian Airlines benefit not only from the high comfort of this airline, but can also register themselves for the bonus program ShebaMiles . The potential privileges are provided by numerous cooperating partners, including all airlines of the Star Alliance, ASKY airline from West Africa, hotels, car rental companies and restaurants of all tastes. Depending on the provider, customers are free to choose discounts as well as upgrades, free over-luggage, a higher number of credited miles, and more. For the benefit of the benefits, the more the customer flies, the more luxury is open to him, because with a corresponding number of status miles the member can ascend to the silver or gold status.

Registration formalities, collecting and redeeming miles

The interested customer can log in online or by means of a printed form sent to Ethiopian Airlines. Account management and mileage redemption are then carried out in the online account or via the program hotline. Customers are collecting basic and status miles at ShebaMiles. In some actions and status-dependent, extended miles, the bonus miles, are credited, which are treated like base miles. While status miles define the membership status, base miles can be redeemed for premiums at Ethiopian and the Star Alliance. The premiums are mostly free-floats, but also class upgrades are open to the participants of the ShebaMiles.
