About Vietnam Airlines
Vietnam Airlines is a state-owned Vietnamese airline based in Hanoi. Vietnam Airlines has its roots in 1956, when the Vietnamese civil aviation agency was founded by the government. The introduction of the new logo also heralded a new era in the company’s history. In recent years, investments have been made to improve the infrastructure and services so that passengers can now travel even more comfortably. The fleet, which mainly consists of Airbus and Boeing, has been intensively modernized since 2003 and is now one of the safest fleets in the region.
