LATAM Brasil or LATAM Linhas Aéreas Brasil (formerly TAM Linhas Aéreas) is a Brazilian airline based in São Paulo and based at São Paulo-Guarulhos airport. LATAM Linhas Aéreas Brasil is part of the Oneworld aviation alliance. LATAM Airlines emerged in June 2012 from the merger of the Brazilian airline TAM Airlines and the Chilean airline LAN Airlines. This gave rise to the largest airline in Latin America, which operates under the common roof of the holding company LATAM Airlines Group. Even after the merger, both airlines continued to offer cheap flights under their respective nameson.
The airline has been operating under the parent company’s brand name as LATAM since May 2016 and claims to become one of the most important groups of airlines in the world by 2018. LATAM Brasil Baggage Allowance
The maximum weight of hand luggage on flights with LATAM Linhas Aéreas Brasil is a maximum of 10 kg in economy on all routes to and from Brazil and 16 kg in premium economy or premium business class. The maximum dimensions for the hand luggage are 55 x 35 x 25 cm including the wheels and the handle. In addition, a jacket, a peakless umbrella, a small camera, binoculars, reading (books, magazines, tablets) or a small duty-free bag are permitted. According to the regulations of the civil aviation authority, electronic cigarettes may only be transported in hand luggage.
Check-in baggage must not exceed 158 cm (width + height + length) and must not weigh more than 23 kg on international flights and 45 kg in Brazil. On routes to or from Aruba, Europe, Oceania, Argentina or on connections from Air Canada, Iberia, British Airways or Qantas, the maximum permitted weight per piece of luggage is 32 kg. Sports equipment, musical instruments and monitors are considered special baggage and can be transported in the cargo hold on LATAM Airlines flights for a fee and appropriately packed. LATAM Brasil Seat Selection
LATAM Airlines allocates standard seats free of charge as part of the check-in. However, passengers also have the option to reserve seats with more legroom for a fee. Depending on the type of booking, this is possible in different periods: At the airport, travelers can select their comfort seats one day before the start and up to 30 minutes before the start of the flight. Online reservations for an XL seat can be made up to three days before the start of the trip. The costs of the XL seats also differ depending on the route and type of reservation. Online, the price is between about 10.80 euros (30 reais) and about 75 euros (225.41 reais). When booking a seat at the counter, passengers have to expect higher costs.

LATAM Brasil Inflight Entertainment
On board, passengers benefit from a choice of three to five hot entrees, depending on their class (Economy, Business). Wine is also served with all meals. The cabins are equipped with television screens and an individual remote control, allowing passengers to choose between the various audio and video programs, or to call the flight attendants.
In some aircraft, LATAM Airlines offers a mobile radio service with OnAir, which allows passengers to write text messages, make phone calls, and write and receive emails. So far, this service has only been available on domestic flights.
