Belavia is the national and flag carrier airline of Belarus and was established in 1996. The center is Minsk and uses the Minsk National Airport as a hub. BELAVIA LEADER FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAM
With Belavia Leader , the airline has its own frequent flyer program, to which no other airlines take part. The program is worthwhile for travelers who frequent station in Minsk. On Belavia flights, points are posted to the member account, depending on the route and tariff class. Partnerships include, among other things, some hotels in Belarus and the Ukraine, the car rental company AVIS and the Belarusian BPS-Sberbank, which issues the Belavia Visa Card. Belavia Leader distinguishes between qualifying and non-qualifying points. Qualifying points earned on Belavia flights, and only these count for the acquisition of Elite status.
Benefit with Belavia Leader
Bonus tickets or upgrades of regular tickets can be purchased with qualifying and non-qualifying points. Bonus tickets can only be used by the program member himself. The silver or gold status is reached with 25,000 and 50000 qualifying points per calendar year. Elite members can look forward to extra points and the typical privileges on journeys.
Each passenger is allowed to carry a hand luggage which is not larger than 50 x 40 x 20 centimeters. This may weigh a maximum of eight kilograms in economy class and a maximum of twelve kilograms in business class. No dangerous objects may be transported in the hand luggage.
The free baggage limit is 20 kilograms in economy class and 30 kilograms in business class. Ten kilograms of additional baggage may also be given for children traveling with their children.
For delicate musical instruments, which must be carried in the cabin and which are not heavier than 75 kilograms, an additional seat can be reserved. If the free baggage allowance is not exceeded, it can be carried free of charge. Otherwise, additional charges will apply per kilogram of baggage.
