About Air Dolomiti
Air Dolomiti was founded in the Italian city of Verona in 1987, but did not start flying until 1991. The regional airline signed a cooperation agreement with Deutsche Lufthansa two years later. Air Dolomiti has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group since 2003. The airline serves national and international destinations
As a subsidiary of Lufthansa, the company is also a member of the Star Alliance aviation alliance. This cooperation includes a total of 28 airlines and numerous affiliated airlines.
Air Dolomiti passengers also benefit from the services, counters, lounges and frequent flyer programs of partner airlines. The airline also offers its frequent flyer program Miles & More to its passengers, with which they can fly cheaper and take advantage of other benefits. With the LIGHT tariff you secure the cheapest price. For 29 euros more you get the PLUS tariff and thus additional services for your flight. Demanding guests fly in Business Class with an EMOTION ticket (LIGHT tariff plus 79 euros). The tariff includes high-quality catering, a piece of checked baggage up to 32 kg and many other extras.
The airline operates its home base in Verona, its hub at Munich Airport . Its route network is aimed at connecting Munich with numerous Italian cities. The company markets some routes under its own name, while others are operated by Lufthansa Regional. Important destinations for Air Dolomitit flights are Verona, Florence, Venice and Bologna. The company also heads for Prague Airport from Munich.

Air Dolomiti Check-in
The Italian airline Air Dolomiti also offers its passengers the option of checking in online at home. For this purpose, passengers can log in to the airline’s homepage 23 hours before departure and select their seats and print out the boarding pass. Alternatively, the mobile boarding pass can be used via smartphone.

Air Dolomiti Baggage Allowance
Normally, each passenger can take one piece of hand luggage on board, which must not be larger than 55 x 40 x 20 centimeters. Passengers of the Light tariff can carry one piece of hand luggage of 7 kg each, passengers of the Plus and Emotion tariffs can carry one piece of hand luggage of 10 kg each. Laptops or briefcases are also permitted if the weight restrictions mentioned are not exceeded. Briefcases with built-in alarm systems, explosive substances, fireworks, torches, gas containers, self-defense sprays, camping stoves, containers with flammable liquids, paints, varnishes, cleaning agents, highly flammable substances, substances that can develop flammable gases in contact with water are generally prohibited in hand luggage. oxidizing, toxic, infectious, radioactive and corrosive substances and objects, wet batteries and magnetic materials. In addition, insufficient liquids that are not packaged according to the applicable EU safety regulations are not permitted.
Passengers of the Light tariff have to pay extra for all checked baggage (from 35 euros). In the Plus tariff, on the other hand, one piece of luggage, which can weigh a maximum of 23 kg, and in the Emotion tariff, one that can weigh a maximum of 32 kg, is included in the price. The dimensions of the luggage may not exceed 158 cm in total. For small children, a piece of luggage weighing no more than 10 kg may be checked in on the Plus and Emotion tariffs; additionally a carrying basket or a stroller.
All other items of baggage that exceed the free baggage allowance must be booked for a fee before departure – special baggage such as sports equipment or musical instruments up to 48 hours before departure (it is possible to take it with you as part of the free baggage allowance). A flat rate of 50 euros will be charged for excess baggage.

Air Dolomiti Seat Selection
Air Dolomiti always allocates seats during check-in. Depending on whether passengers are checking in at the airport or online, they can choose their preferred seat up to 23 hours before departure. There are no additional costs. XL seats are available at the emergency exits. They will not be treated separately and will also be assigned at check-in.

Air Dolomiti Food & Beverage
At the airline, the economy is called “Light” or “Plus”. Board catering is included in the flight price. You can expect a snack, such as sweet pastries in the morning or a sandwich later in the day. In the self-presentation, it is important that drinks are served in glasses, so that the flavors of the Italian products come into play, especially with red and white wine or prosecco. Of course there is also water, coffee, tea or soft drinks to choose from. However, pre-ordering special meals is not provided in the economy.
In business, named “Emotion” for this airline, it gets a little more luxurious. Here, porcelain is served throughout and the meal is served with warm bread.
