About UTair Aviation
Initially named Tyumenaviatrans Aviation (TAT), Utair Aviation was born from the break-up of the Aeroflot organization in 1991, in order to meet the growing needs in terms of transportation of the gas and oil industry in Western Siberia. TAT adopted the name Utair Aviation in 2003.
In addition to Russian shareholders and companies, the Russian airline is % 23 owned by the Khanty Mansiysk district administration and % 19 by the administration of the oil city of Surghut.
Based at Vnukovo and Surghut airports in Russia. It operates scheduled domestic and international flights, as well as helicopter services in support of the West Siberian oil and gas industry. Recently, in 2017, the company implemented a rebranding operation. It therefore changed its name to call itself only “UTair”.
UTair is also engaged in special operations for the United Nations. Offering flights by plane or helicopter, the Utair brand has become a benchmark for business leaders and manufacturers who want to travel urgently in certain parts of the world.

UTair Classes of Service
UTair offers 3 classes of service to its passengers:
Comfortable seats, food and 20 kg weight limit for check-in baggage are the facilities provided to Economy Class passengers.
Higher food quality, higher weight limit for check-in baggage and reclining seats are some of the facilities provided to Premium Economy Class passengers.
Higher weight limit for check-in baggage, comfortable reclining seats and points or miles for “Status” members are some of the facilities provided to Business Class passengers.
In addition to scheduled flights, the airline operates charter and helicopter flights.
The airline makes charter flights to Dabolim in India, Lahore and Karachi in Pakistan, and Denpasar in Indonesia.
The Russian airline is flying several destinations in Russia, especially in Siberia.
Countries that are flying abroad; Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Austria, Belarus, Germany, Greece and Latvia.

In 2006, UTair formed UTair Express, a new regional division airline based on and replacing its subsidiary, Komiinteravia.
In 2008, UTair founded its Ukrainian subsidiary, Utair-Ukraine.
UTair Aviation Check-in
Utair Aviation offers passengers the following options for check-in: at the counter, at the machine and online.

Check-in start time
In order to avoid long waiting times at the airport, travelers can also check-in online from 24 hours to one hour before their scheduled departure.

While the counters are open 90 minutes before departure for domestic flights, check-in for international flights is possible from three hours to 40 minutes before departure. Passengers can also use the self-check-in at the machine. The airline activates this service from 24 hours to 45 minutes before take-off.
UTair Aviation Baggage Allowance
You must be able to travel on board for hand luggage. The dimensions of the baggage can not exceed 55 X 40 X 20 ‘cm. Economy class passengers are entitled to 10 pounds per piece, Business class passengers are entitled to 2 luggage of 10 kg each. Children under 2 are entitled to 10 kg baggage even if they have not bought a seat.
The sum of the three sides of the bag you will carry in the cargo area must not exceed 203 cm. Economy class passengers can carry 1 piece 23kg baggage. Business class passengers are entitled to 2 pieces 32kg each. In addition, the Status loyalty program has extra baggage allowances. Bronze and Silver members have an additional 1 piece, Gold members have 2 pieces more baggage.
If only one of the ski equipment, bicycle and golf equipment does not exceed 23 kg, it is carried as additional baggage free of charge. Scooters can be carried for as little as 23 kg for as long as there is no lithium battery.

UTair Aviation Seat Selection
During check-in, passengers can reserve a seat. However, Utair reserves the right to change seats that have already been selected. Passengers who need a little more space can book an additional seat at an additional cost. The airline does not currently provide any information about the allocation of comfort seats.
UTair Aviation Knee Distance
Because of the airlines who want to reduce the cost of flying more passengers, knee distance is very important especially on long haul flights. The front seats and emergency exit seats are the seats with the highest knee distance. It is generally sold for a fee.
STATUS Frequent Flyer Program
The name of the loyalty program that Airline offers to its frequent flyers is Status. Members can earn miles not only in airline tickets, but also on payments made by hotel bank, car rental and bank cards they use. Passengers flying regularly with Utair airline earn miles according to flight class and flight distance; earn upgrade or various awards.
Members 4 special status and advantages
Status program has four membership statuses: Basic, Bronze, Silver and Gold. In general, you need 20 flights to reach your Bronze membership, 35 flights to reach Silver membership and 60 flights to get to the Gold membership. You can find special advantages for members on the table below.

UTair Aviation Inflight Entertainment
UTair has reached an agreement with Row 44 and is about to introduce in-flight Internet, through this platform, which is considered to be the most sophisticated now on offer.
Passengers will be able to email and shop during their flight – or watch TV shows and latest movies.
Row 44 will be available on domestic and international services starting from the end of 2013.
