About Swiss International Air Lines
Swiss (Swiss International Air Lines) is the flag carrier airline of Switzerland, which was founded in April 2002 as the successor of former Swissair. The company emerged from the regional airline Crossair and is now a subsidiary of Lufthansa. The airline has made a name for itself internationally within a few years. Zurich serves as the home airport and hub. Geneva is a second hub. The airline, known as SWISS, is 100% owned by Lufthansa. In May 2020, the fleet size was 89 Airbuses and Boeing.

Meals on the SWISS International Air Lines depend on the length of the flight. Meals on intercontinental flights
Anyone who has booked an intercontinental flight with the SWISS International Air Lines can choose between a warm meat dish and a vegetarian menu. The airline also offers its passengers popular Swiss cheeses such as Appenzeller or Gruyère. The selection of drinks is also large and ranges from soft drinks to wine and beer to spirits. All meals and beverages are included in the ticket price on both European and intercontinental flights.
If ordered in advance, SWISS also serves special menus for babies, children and passengers with special needs – for example, if there is a nut allergy or gluten intolerance. The baby menu, which is suitable for children up to the age of two, usually consists of an organic fruit or vegetable porridge. The children’s menu (up to 12 years) varies, but always has a sweet specialty for little passengers.
