About Montenegro Airlines
Montenegro Airlines is the flag carrier airline of Montenegro and was founded by the Montenegrin Government in 1994. However, the first flight to Bari (Italy) has not been operated before 7th May 1997, due to the instability in Western Balkans region.
With its main hub in Podgorica Airport (TGD), Montenegro Airlines is operating today scheduled flights to Zurich, Frankfurt, Rome, Paris, Ljubljana, Vienna, Belgrade, Moscow, Niš and Copenhagen, successfully connecting Montenegro to the rest of Europe.
The airline also has a subsidiary, Master Airways, which is based in Nis, Serbia. Frequent flyers can use the Vision Team program to receive discounts. The Montenegro Airlines fleet includes Embraer 195 and Fokker 100 aircraft.

Montenegro Airlines offers 2 classes of service to its passengers:
Free meals and beverages, 20kg weight limit for check-in baggage are some of the facilities provided in Economy Class passengers.
Reclining seats with more leg space, higher weight limit for check-in baggage, alcohol drinks and a lavish meal are the facilities provided to Business Class passengers.
In addition to scheduled flights, Montenegro Airlines also operate charter flights to many destinations, including: Bari, Brindisi, Napoli, Athens, Corfu, Rhodes, Skiathos, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Riga, Hurghada, Brno, Ostrava, Graz, Klagenfurt, Dusseldorf, Catania and others.

In February 2007, Montenegro Airlines receives IOSA certification from IATA (the most important, internationally recognized program for airline safety).
In November 2009, Montenegro Airlines has been recognized as the most punctual airline in a competition held by the Russian aviation authorities and the Moscow Airport Domodedovo (DME).

Montenegro Airlines Baggage Allowance
Passengers on flights with Montenegro Airlines may take one piece of hand luggage up to ten kilograms on board, provided that it is no larger than 55 x 40 x 20 centimeters. In addition, everyone can bring a personal item on board (a jacket, an umbrella, a camera, etc.).
In Business Class, adults and children are allowed to carry two pieces of luggage of a maximum of 32 kg each and in Economy Class one piece of luggage of a maximum of 23 kg. The maximum permissible external dimensions are 158 centimeters. Small children are allowed to take one piece of luggage weighing 10 kg each. Silver and gold members of the frequent flyer program can check in 2 pieces of luggage weighing 34 kg each (in business class) with a maximum size of 208 centimeters and luggage in economy class with a maximum of 32 kg (158 cm maximum circumference). Excess baggage and extra checked baggage incur additional costs, which can be between 30 and 150 euros.
Montenegro Airlines carries almost all types of sports luggage for a fee of between 25 and 130 euros. The price depends on the flight distance and baggage size. More detailed information on fees and regulations can be found on the airline’s website.
