Enrich Frequent Flyer Program
The bonus program of the airline Malaysia Airlines can be found under the name Enrich and offers many advantages. There are four status levels that begin with the blue status that has already been reached with the login. From 25,000 miles or 30 flight segments a year the passengers get the Silver status. The benefits of the Silver Status include, for example, lounge access, 25% additional miles, preferred check-in, and a higher clearance limit. The gold status is reached with 50,000 miles. This increases the free baggage limit as well as the luggage is transported preferentially.
Platinum status of Enrich
Passengers who fly 100,000 miles with Malaysia Airlines or one of the partner airlines within one calendar year are given the Platinum status. With this status, the flight miles no longer expire. Platinum-rated passengers will enjoy personalized service at Kuala Lumpur Airport. You can also benefit from other partnerships, such as car rental companies, hotel chains, etc. The earned miles can be exchanged through the Enrich bonus program for bonuses and upgrades of all kinds, thus offering interesting advantages for the frequent flyers.
Malaysia Airlines Food & Beverage
Non-alcoholic beverages and hot meals are already included in the ticket price for economy flights on Malaysia Airlines international flights. Asian dishes predominate in the choice of food. It is possible to register special requests up to 24 hours before departure, including meals according to religious rules (kosher, Muslim, Hindu). Also, children’s dishes and food are offered that meet special requirements for health reasons. A variety of vegetarian options round off the offer in the economy.
Business Class will be exciting from a culinary point of view. Specials that change every month are designed to ensure that frequent flyers do not get bored with on-board catering. With regional offers based on the respective routes, Malaysia Airlines would like to ensure that the taste of the passengers is met. The airline is currently revising its website (as of April 2017) and advises that the on-board service for its business and first class, which it calls its chief-on-call service, should be carried out by telephone before departure.
For these two higher-priced booking classes, sample menus from the past show a variety of cake variations, grilled meat and vegetables and fish dishes on flights from Europe. As a snack in between, omelets were offered. With a salad in advance and a cake afterwards, Malaysia Airlines has tried to meet the high demands of a multi-course meal.
As Malaysia Airlines is changing, it is highly recommended to contact the regional representatives of this airline, especially in business and first class, before booking and departure, in order to avoid unpleasant surprises when it comes to on-board catering. Please also note that alcoholic beverages are not offered on many routes.
