Amira Air was bought in 2016 by Formula 1 driver Niki Lauda, who renames the company LaudaMotion. This Austrian company has different bases in Vienna, Zurich and from March 29, 2018 in 7 cities in Germany.After going bankrupt, the company NIKI handed over all its operations and its fleet to the company LaudaMotion. The company’s first flight under its new name left Düsseldorf Airport on March 25, 2018. In March 2018, the company LaudaMotion announced its partnership with the Irish low-cost company Ryanair.

Lauda Classes of Service

The LaudaMotion company offers two fares, one in Economy class and one in Premium class. These two prices are themselves divided into categories including or not a piece of luggage in the hold as well as the possibility of changing reservations 24 hours before departure. In Premium class, the meal is included in the ticket, so you can eat during the flight by choosing cold and hot drinks and sandwiches from the menu on board.
