Jet Airways Food & Beverage

In all booking classes of Jet Airways, on-board catering is included in the price of the flight ticket. In the economy, passengers are promised a mix of international and Indian cuisine. However, the company does not publish specific examples. Frequent travelers report sandwiches on short flights and a warm meal on longer journeys. There is also coffee, tea, water, juices, soft drinks and beer or wine. Traditionally, vegetarians in India are well looked after. It is also possible to pre-order from a long list of special meals up to 24 hours before departure. The options there also include kosher or vegan food as well as various dishes that are prepared according to medical or religious rules.

In the business, which is called Jet Airways Première, dishes are already served on porcelain; on many flights, travelers can decide for themselves when they want to eat. An example menu shows a salad as a starter and the choice of shrimp, tandoori chicken and vegetarian dumplings as a main course, with fresh fruit or a mousse as a dessert. Jet Airways places particular value on a selection of top teas from all over the world, but the business also offers wines and spirits.

In the Fist Class, Jet Airways advertises champagne as a welcome and a subsequent five-course menu. Award-winning wines and a wide selection of whiskeys are served, the non-alcoholic section includes extra fruit cocktails. Snacks for the small hunger in between are available at any time.
