JET AIRWAYS FLIGHTS

Jet Airways was established in 1992 in Mumbai, India. The airline is India's largest airline after the IndiGo airline. By the end of 2016, 25 million passengers were carried. The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is used as a hub. The airline also has five more hubs. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Chennai International Airport, Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi), Kempegowda International Airport (Bangalore), Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (Kolkata). Etihad Airways purchased the airline's 24% share in 2013.

The main destinations of the airline flying in 45 destinations on domestic routes are; Delhi, Bangalore, Bombay, Chennai, Calcutta and Goa.

Jet Airways has a 100% share of the Jetlite India airline.

BAGGAGE REGULATIONS

Carry-on baggage

Flights within India: Passengers may carry a piece of hand luggage up to a maximum of 7 kg and 115 cm outer dimensions (with Boeing and Airbus 55 x 35 x 25 cm, with ATR 50 x 45 x 20 cm). International flights: In the First and Première Class, a hand luggage with a weight of 7 10 kg and a maximum size of 55 x 35 x 25 cm may be carried. In addition, a personal item may be carried on board. In economy class only one piece of luggage of 7 kg and 55 x 35 x 25 cm is allowed.

Checked baggage

The maximum size per bag is 158 cm. The permissible free baggage is marked on the ticket. For small children, the same rules apply as for adult passengers. In case of an excess, fees will be due. Regulations for individual routes should be read on the airline website. A general rule applies only if the maximum overall size is exceeded: 150 US dollars are charged for each piece of over sized luggage.

Other luggage

There is no charge for sport baggage if they exceed the maximum size of the baggage. But when they exceed the maximum weight. An extra seat can be booked for fragile items up to 75 kg.
