GULF AIR FLIGHTS
Gulf Air is Bahrain's flag carrier airline. The foundation dates back to the 1940s. It is one of the first commercial airlines in the Middle East. In 1950, the four Emirates took over the shares in the company Oman, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Qatar, whose name was changed to Gulf Air. The living financial troubles and the emirates' share have been transferred to the Bahrain state. The center of the airline is El-Muharraq and uses Bahrain International Airport as a hub.
There is no domestic flight due to the small size of Bahrain country.

The name of the Gulf air loyalty program is Falcon Flyer. Your mileage varies according to flight distance, flight class and membership status. Membership is offered in 4 categories; Blue, Silver, Gold and Black. Silver card holders earn 25% on their flights, Gold card holders 50%, Black card holders earn 75% more Falconflyer miles

The Silver Card is valid for one year. You need to collect 900 points. An additional 15 kg luggage allowance is offered. For the Gold Class, 2,500 loyalty points are required. If you accumulate 6,500 points, you get to the Black status, which is covered all the advantages. All three memberships will be valid for two years. You can use your Mile's to get a free plane ticket and upgrade.

In the Falcon Gold class, a traveler can carry a maximum of 9 kg of luggage. This can be a bag with the maximum dimensions 55 x 40 x 30 cm or a clothes bag (maximum width 20 cm) plus an action bag (maximum 45 x 40 x 30 cm). In Economy Class, an airborne passenger may carry a maximum of 6 kg of luggage with maximum outer dimensions of 45 x 40 x 30 cm. For small children, 3 kg of hand luggage may be carried, which may be up to 44 x 35 x 20 cm. In addition, each passenger may take a personal item into the cabin, such as a handbag, a book or a laptop.
40 kg can be given in the Falcon Gold class, 30 kg in economy class. For children over 2 years the same regulations apply. For small children (0 to 2 years) 10 kg can be carried. For both it is permitted to bring a collapsible baby carriage. Silver and gold members of the Gulf Air Falconflyer program can also carry 15 or 20 kg of luggage, while members with the status of "Black" can even take 25 kg. The maximum dimensions 95 x 75 x 45 cm and a maximum weight of 32 kg per piece of luggage are valid for carrying the baggage checked in. A fee of between 13 and 50 US dollars per kilogram will be charged for over-baggage depending on the route.
Special luggage, such as musical instruments and sports equipment listed on the airline's website, may be carried as part of normal baggage. If the allowed baggage limit (32 kg and 190 x 75 x 65 cm) is exceeded, additional costs for over baggage will be charged.
