About Blue Panorama Airlines
Founded in December 1998 by Franco Pecci, the company Blue Panorama Airlines began operations in December of that same year. 66.6% owned by Distal & Itr Group and 33.4% owned by Franco Pecci, Blue Panorama Airlines also operates a low-cost company called Blu-express. Charter flights and scheduled flights are operated from Malpensa Airport in Milan.
In full commercial success, the Italian company Blue Panorama Airlines ensures the transport of more than 440,500 passengers since 2003. Its fleet consists of 15 aircraft. Fourteen years after the creation of the company, in 2012, Alitalia plans to merge with Blue Panorama Airlines and WindJet. The abandonment of this alliance is finally pronounced a few months later. In 2019, the company decided to rebranding in order to revalue the brand with a clientele that is less and less present. Blue Panorama Airlines becomes Luke Air and receives the first Airbus A320-200 in the colors of the new livery in early March 2020.
