About Air Transat
Air Transat is one of the largest Canadian airlines. Air Transat is based in Montreal. The private airline’s hubs are Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. The company offers charter and scheduled flights. The airline was founded in 1987 and has specialized entirely in the needs of leisure travelers.
Consequently, it also describes itself as Canada’s leading holiday airline. A look at the flight destinations shows the reason: In the winter season, most flights go to sunny destinations in the south. These include the southern United States, Mexico, South America and the Caribbean. In the summer season, however, the focus is on holiday flights to Europe. The cheap charter flights to and from Frankfurt, Munich, Brussels and Amsterdam are particularly interesting for European travelers.
However, it does not belong to any aviation association. The fleet mainly consists of airbuses. Despite the low prices, Air Transat passengers do not have to do without service. There is an Economy class and a Club class on all flights. In Club Class you travel particularly comfortably at a good price-performance ratio. For a small surcharge, customers can take more baggage allowance with them, enjoy more legroom and have a large selection of menus. Snacks and drinks are free of charge. Passengers who book the Plus option can expect even more service. Air Transat is a subsidiary of Transat A.T. Inc., one of the world’s largest tourism companies.
