Each passenger may carry a hand luggage of a maximum of eight kilograms and 50 x 40 x 25 centimeters (115 centimeters maximum circumference). Personal items such as a jacket, an umbrella, a handbag, a camera or reading material may also be carried along. When traveling with small children, it is also allowed to bring baby food or a baby's bowl. Passengers who are dependent on walking aids / crutches or a wheelchair, may also carry these items on board. Liquids must be stored in separate containers with a maximum capacity of 100 milliliters. The maximum permissible total quantity is one liter per person. The containers must be packed in a transparent, resealable plastic bag (maximum permissible dimensions: 20 x 20 cm).
On flights with Air Moldova, two luggage units of 23 kilograms can be given in the Business and Economy Premium Class and a piece of luggage of 23 kilograms in the Economy Regular Class. Passengers of the Economy Basic Class have no free baggage, except on flights to Istanbul and Moscow. Here they can give up a piece of luggage of 23 kilograms. Toddlers are allowed to leave ten kilos of luggage and a collapsible baby carriage. Air Moldova Club members may also carry a piece of luggage of 23 kilograms each. A piece of luggage must never be heavier than 23 kg or larger than 158 cm (115 cm for tins).
For fragile and bulky objects, as well as musical instruments, works of art, electronic devices, etc., which are neither suitable for loading in the cargo area of the aircraft nor as hand luggage, an additional seat can be provided for a fee. In this case, the bag may not be heavier than 75 kg. The approved size is dependent on the particular aircraft. A maximum of 23 kilograms of sport baggage may be carried within the free baggage allowance.
