About Air Macau
Air Macau was established in September 1994, but only began operations in November 1995. In December 2005, it received its ISO 9001 version 2000 certification, proving the establishment of a quality management system. Continuing to improve its services to customers, in 2008 it inaugurated the launch of its first online reservation system to make life easier for travelers. The year 2009 was marked by the integration of Air Macau into the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
To extend the radius of action of its loyalty program, the airline is partnering with All Nippon Airways in 2010 and Air China in 2012, allowing people traveling on these companies to accumulate miles for the loyalty program. The desire to simplify customers’ lives was once again demonstrated in 2012, when Air Macau entered into a partnership with Alipay, an online payment service. This association aims to facilitate reservations and transactions on the Internet. In the same vein, self-service check-in kiosks were made available to travelers in 2013.
