Aegean Airlines Check-in
Long queues in front of the check-in counter at the airport rarely give rise to an anticipatory holiday mood. Aegean Airlines has therefore developed a simple process for all customers that can be used to check in online. With the largest Greek airline, only the booking code or ticket number must be kept ready. You enter your data together with the name at online checkin address below. In the next step, the passenger receives a suggested seat and can view his travel dates. If desired, the proposed seat can be changed. If all the data is correct, you can create a so-called mobile boarding pass.
The mobile boarding pass
The individually created mobile boarding pass contains all relevant travel data and a 2D barcode. This is scanned at the airport when boarding and replaces the traditional paper boarding pass. The card is shown during online check-in by Aegean Airlines on a smartphone, tablet or comparable device. Depending on your wishes, you can also print out the boarding pass or have it printed out at an airport terminal or an air ticket counter.
What should be considered when checking in online?
- Check in online for 48 hours to 30 minutes
- If the first flight is operated by Aegean Airlines, you can already check in for all connecting flights
- Passengers should be at the boarding gate 20 minutes before departure
- Access to the mobile boarding pass is also possible without Internet access using the Passbook app (only available for iPhone / iPod touch devices)
- Online check-in is NOT possible at the following airports: Tirana, Izmir, Amman, Dubrovnik, Deauville, Pisa, Rostov-on-Don
Check-in on the day of departure
With the Aegean Airlines mobile boarding pass, you can go directly to the departure gate on the day of travel without having to put up with tedious waiting times at the check-in counter. The prerequisite for this is that you only have hand luggage with you. Otherwise, the baggage must first be brought to the baggage drop desks. Only the mobile boarding pass is then shown at the gate itself. Passengers should also have their ID or passport ready.
Aegean Airlines offers its online check-in directly on the company’s website
Check-in start time

After check-in, the machine will print your boarding pass.
