Aegean Airlines is a Greek-based airline company headquartered in Kifisia. The airline, established in 1999, made its first flight from Athens to Heraklion. The company biggest share owned by Theodoros Vassilakis . Today, Aegean airlines is the largest Greek airline by the total number of passengers carried, by fllet size and by fnumber of flight point that fly.Since 2010, Airline is a member of Star Alliance. Athens International Airport, Larnaca International Airport and Thessaloniki International Airport as hubs. The airline has both scheduled and charter flights.

Olympic Air is also subsidiary of  the company.

Starting from 48 hours before the flight and continues until  30 minutes prior the scheduled flight.


Miles and Bonus is Aegean Air's mile program and can be used by loyal customers of the carrier to benefit, for example, discounts on flights or special services related to the flight. In addition to flights from Aegean Air, it is also possible to earn miles via Partner airlines within the Star Alliance as well as through other cooperation partners. These include, for example, car rental Hertz, Greek duty-free shops and various hotel chains.

Various advantages through different membership cards

Miles and Bonus offers the possibility of three membership types. These include Blue, Silver and Gold membership. They differ in terms of the benefits that are benefited from membership, as well as the prerequisites to be met. In order to become a Blue-Member, a simple flight with Aegean, Olympic Air or a Star Alliance partner company is enough. For Silver status you have to earn at least 12,000 miles per year. Carry-on baggage

The size of the hand baggage must not exceed 56 x 45 x 25 cm in all booking classes. This applies to all national and international connections. Economy class passengers are entitled to 8 kg 1 baggage allowance. The First and Business Class has 2 pieces of luggage without exceeding the maximum weight of 8 kg.
